Introduction to Ceramics / Hand-Building Classes

A first approach to ceramics designed to introduce you to traditional hand-building techniques: pinch, slab, and coil methods. Through these techniques, you will learn to create both functional pieces and unique artistic and decorative objects.

The classes are individual, meaning each session is tailored to your pace, interests, and level. You will receive fully personalised guidance so you can enjoy the process and progress with confidence, with no previous experience required.

The pack includes

  • 3 individual classes of 1 hour and 30 minutes each
  • Introduction to basic hand-building techniques
  • All materials, glazes, and firings included
  • Flexible schedule, arranged according to availability

General terms and conditions

Pieces made during the introductory pack will remain in the studio until collection. They will be stored for a maximum of 3 months after the end of the course. After this period, we cannot guarantee their storage.

Ceramics is a handcrafted process that involves several stages: drying, first firing, glazing, and second firing. For this reason, pieces will be ready for collection approximately 4 to 7 weeks after the final session. Collection must be arranged in advance.

Although we take the utmost care with each piece, ceramics is a living material and small variations, cracks, or breakages may occur during firing. Therefore, Cris Gago is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the firing process.

Payments and bookings

The price includes all materials, glazes, and firings required for the pack.

To confirm a booking, full payment is required in advance.

Bookings and payments are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by Cris Gago, a full refund will be issued or the activity may be rescheduled.
